Diana. 2023. Using Video Youtube to Increase Students Vocabulary in Learning English at SMA 6 Palopo (Supervised by Reski Yusrini Islamiah Yunus and Andi Mangnguntungi S.)
The purpose of this research is to find out the use of video youtube can increase the students vocabulary in learning English at SMA 6 Palopo.The researcher applied pre exprerimental design.This method is part of quantitative method which does not only do the observation but experimental also.The population of this research of this research will be eleventh grade of IPS class and consist on 20 students.The researcher concludes that the implementation of video youtobe is effective in improving students vocabulary.It is proven by students mean score result in pre test and post test which improve.The mean score of pre test is 66,40 and mean score in post test is 87,50.The students score in post test is greater that pre test after giving treatment to the student.Furthermore, based on the analysis data in findings,the researcher finds that P-value is 0.00 and the α is 0.05, therefore P-value<α (0.00<0.05).It means that alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (HO) is rejected.
