Istiana Bahari. 2023. The Effect of The Mnemonic Method on Vocabulary Mastery at The Eight Grade of MTsN 1 Luwu (Supervised by Andi Mangnguntungi Sudirman and Reski Yusrini Islamiah Yunus).
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the mnemonic method in mastering the vocabulary of MTsN 1 Luwu students. The method used in this research is quantitative. The instrument used is a question test. And data collection using pretest, treatment, and post-test. The data collected from the pretest and post-test were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results showed that the mnemonic method was effective in mastering vocabulary. It can be proven by the average post-test score of students, which is 87.89, higher than the pretest score of 40.07. It means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and post- test after treatment.
