This research was conducted to see whether there was an increase in students' reading comprehension using the Paired Reading method at SMA Negeri 13 Luwu. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The instrument is a writing test and the medium is narrative text. Data collection used pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The data gathered from pre-test and post-test was analized through SPSS application version 26. The result of the research shows that Using Paired Reading Method can improve the students’ reading Comprehension. This can be proven by the mean score of post-test 82.25 students’, which higher than the pre-test score 63.50. This means that there is a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test after using the paired reading method in improving students' reading comprehension at SMA Negeri 13 Luwu.
