The research question that should be answered in this research is: Can the use of flash card learning media improve students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Palopo. The subject of this research consisted of 32 students of VII E at SMPN 1 Palopo. The data of this research collected through vocabulary test as the research instrument in the pre-test and in the post-test which was analysed quantitativy. The mean score of students in the pre-test was 57.20 which is lower than the mean score of students test in the post-test that 92.80. The result of the p-value by using SPSS program version 24 show that the (P) is 0.000 and the (a) 0.05, therefore P < a (0.000<0.05. It means that the null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. It can be concluded that the using of Flash Card improved students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Palopo.
