This research aims to determine the Effectiveness of Mentimeter Platform in Teaching Vocabulary at the Seventh grade students of SMPN 4 Palopo. The population of this research is 288 students. This study used simple random sampling with 22 students of class VII.3 as the technique to obtain the sample. The researcher used test as instrument. The research used quantitative method with pre-experimental design. The data was collected conducting by pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The mean score of the students in the pre-test 35.55 which lower than the mean score of students in the post-test, that is 74.18. In addition, the sig (2-tailed) value < a (0.000 < 0.05) it means that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes in the pre-test and post-test data. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This study shows that the use of Mentimeter Platform is effective in teaching vocabulary in class VII of SMPN 4 Palopo.
