The purpose of this research was to find out how the use of Kahoot! platform in teaching grammar to students of class XI SMAN 1 Palopo impacted on the lesson of Simple Present Tense. This research used quantitative method, and its pre-experiment design involved 35 students from class XI Andalas. Data collection was done through a grammar test consisting of multiple choice and short fill-in questions given as pre-test and post-test. The treatment was conducted in four meetings by using the features of Kahoot!, which was presented in an interactive and interesting way, with slides, stories, quizzes, and puzzles. The results showed that students' grammar skills improved significantly. The average score increased from 51.4 in the pre-test to 90.17 in the post-test. In addition, Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test showed the improvement of all students, with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α (0.05), which indicates that there is a significant difference. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Kahoot! on the platform is very effective for teaching grammar. It was also able to improve students' understanding and mastery of the Simple Present Tense material. Kahoot! also encourages active learning through digital media and increases students' participation.
