Aditya Ardhana, 2025. Using Duolingo Application In strengthening Grammar To The Students of SMAN 4 Palopo. (Supervisor by Rahmawati Upa, S.Pd.I., M.Pd. and Resky Yusrini IY, S.Pd.,M.Pd).
This Research aims to find out the effect of using Duolingo Application in improving students’ grammar skills. The researcher used quantitative method with pre-experimental design included pre-test and post-test. The subjects were 15 tenth- grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Palopo. The instrument used were multiple-choice test to measure students’ grammar skills before and after treatment. The data were analyzed using a t-test with the help of the IBM SPPS Version 27 program. The results found that there a significant in the average scores between the pre-test and pos-test. In the pre-test, the average score was 29.33, while in the post-test average score was 76.33. The Wilcoxon signed rank test showed a significance of Asymp.sig 2 tailed was 0.001 (<0.05), which means there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. These findings indicate that using Duolingo Application is effective in improving students’ grammar skills. Therefore, the Duolingo Application can be used as an alternative for strengthening grammar in a more interesting and contextual way.
