Hadijah Rahma. 2025. The use of Spelling Bee Game Strategy to enrich Students’ Vocabulary of seventh Grade at MTS Batusitanduk (Edi Wahyono and Hafirah Patang).
This study aims to determine the enrichment of students’ vocabulary by the application of Spelling Bee Game strategy of seventh grade at MTS Batusitanduk. vocabulary is a collection of words used and known in a language. The writer used a quantitative method with pre-experimental research design, with the research subject being 30 students of class VII A. Data were collected by conducting pre-test and post-test. The result of this study shows that Spelling Bee Game strategy can enrich students’ vocabulary of seventh grade at MTS Batusitanduk. It can be seen from in the mean score of students in the pre-test and post-test. The mean score of students in the pre-test was 62.57 lower than students’ score in post-test 74.43. In addition, asymp. Sig (2 tailed) = 0.002 <0.05, so it is stated that HO is rejected and HI is accepted. The conclusion than can be obtained is that there is an average value of students’ learning outcomes from both the pre-test and post-test. Using Spelling Bee Game strategy can enrich students’ vocabulary of seventh grade at MTS Batusitanduk.
