The objective of this research is to find the effectiveness of using Quizizz to improve students' reading comprehension. The researcher used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design to investigate whether Quizizz was effective in improving students' reading comprehension. The researcher used a quantitative method and a pre-experimental design with 10 students of class eighth. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test. The results of this research indicate that using Quizizz can improve the reading comprehension of eighth-grade students at Cokroaminoto Junior High School, Palopo. This can be seen from the mean score of students in pre-test and post-test. The mean score of students' reading comprehension on narrative fables in the pre-test was 51.00, lower than the students' score on the post-test of 75.00. Furthermore, sig. (2-tailed) < α (0.005 < 0.05) indicates a significant difference between the learning outcomes in the pre-test and post-test data, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This research was focused on the effectiveness of Quizizz in improving students' reading comprehension of narrative texts, specifically fables. Based on the results after giving the treatments, it can be concluded that Quizizz is effective in improving reading comprehension at the eighth grade students at Cokroaminoto Junior High School, Palopo.
