This study aims to determine the effect of using Webtoon media on improving students' reading comprehension skills. This study uses a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design in the form of a pre-test and post-test design. The subjects in this study were 20 students in grade X at SMA Islam Margolembo. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test to measure students' reading skills before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using a t-test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that there was an increase in the average score from 41.10 on the pre-test to 57.95 on the post-test. A paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), demonstrating that the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores is statistically significant. Therefore, it can be concluded that the applied instructional method has a positive and significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective teaching strategies in similar educational contexts. Therefore, Webtoon media can be used as an alternative in more interesting and contextual reading learning.
