The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Quizizz application in improving the vocabulary of tenth grade students at SMAN 2 Palopo. The Quizizz app is an online game-based learning medium that can be accessed using a mobile phone. This app combines games and learning, where students take quizzes as if they were playing games. The app is supported by images, text, and music that will make students interested in learning and make learning much more enjoyable. The writer used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental research design involving 35 students in class X.7 Sakura. The data was collected by conducting pre-test and post-test, which showed that the use of the Quizizz application could improve the vocabulary of 10th grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Palopo. It can be seen from the students' pre-test and post-test mean scores, where the students' pre-test mean score of 60.54 is lower than the students' post-test mean score of 85.37. Furthermore, asymp. Sig (two tails) = 0.00 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The conclusion that can be obtained is that there is an average value of students learning outcomes from both pre-test and post-test using Quizizz Application can improve students vocabulary at the tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Palopo.
