Trice Sahnas, 2022. The Use of Word Wall Strategy in Enchancing the Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at SMP Negeri 1 Walenrang (Supervised by Paldy and Suhardi).

This type of research is experimental research. This study aims to determine students learning outcomes after using the word wall strategy in terms
of increasing the vocabulary of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Walenrang.
The sample of this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1
Walenrang. The research instrument used was a test of students' English learning
outcomes. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis
and inferential statistical analysis. The result of this research showed that there is
a significant increase in students learning outcomes of the grade students of VII
SMP Negeri 1 Walenrang after the implementation of the word wall strategy. It
can be prove by the mean of post-test score (83,95) was higher than the mean of
pre-test score (49,05). If the probability value is less than (0.01 < 0.05), the
alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected.
This means that using the word wall strategy for seventh graders at SMP Negeri 1
Walenrang improves students' vocabulary understanding.
