Abstract
Sandy. 2021. NIM 1701404110. Teacher’s Strategy In Teaching Vocabulary at SMP Negeri Satap Paranta.
This research aims to find out the English teacher strategies in teaching vocabulary at SMP Negeri Satap Paranta. This research used Descriptive Qualitative Method. The subject in this research is the only one English teacher at SMP Negeri Satap Paranta. The instrument of this research was a classroom observation. This research showed that related to the resulting of interview and classroom observation, English teacher in that school in teaching vocabulary used three strategies, they are, Translation method, Memorization technique, and Teaching Using Pictures Media.
