The aim of this research were to figure out . Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension Through Reading Comict at the Eight Grade of SMP Negeri 2 Bua Ponrang using quantitative methods. The instrument used in this study was a test, namely pretest and posttest. This test is given in the form of multiple choice
with a total of 20 questions. The data analysis technique used is the normality test,
homogeneity test, and T test. The results obtained are 0.000 <0.05. The t-test
value of difference. It indicates that the alternative hypothesis (HI) is accepted and
the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It is proved that the used of picture storie
media is effective in Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension Through
Reading Comict at the Eight Grade of SMP Negeri 2 Bua Ponrang.
