This study aimed to improve student's vocabulary mastery by using Kahoot as
learning media. In this quantitative study, the samples were students in MTs
NegeriPalopo, with 20 students selected using a cluster sampling technique. In
this study, a test was applied as a Pre-test and Post-test. The students' score after
the treatment is higher than before treatment (Kahoot). It indicated a difference in
the mean score in the pre-test and the post-test. The mean score in the pre-test is
45.40. Classified poor is lower than in the post-test is 71.85 classified reasonably
good. furthermore, the writer found that α (0.05) was higher than the p-value
(0.00). It indicates that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. As a result, there is
a significant differencein the scores of students before and after giving Kahoot
games as learning media. That means that Kahoot can improve students’
vocabulary.
