This study aims to increase students’ vocabulary at second grade of SMAN 6 Palopo. The population of this study were 209 students. The sample of this study were 34 students. The writer applied a pre-experimental design. The instrument was the Vocabulary test. This study was conducted in May 2024 at SMAN 6 Palopo. Finding of data analysis, result of Wilcoxon test using SPSS program version 22, students’ negative ranks in pre-test and post-test showed that value of N, mean rank and sum of rank were 0. It means that there was no decrease (reduction) from pre-test to post-test. In other words, there are no student who had followed treatments or the method learning “Spelling Bee Game” got lower score than before taking the treatment. Meanwhile, on the positive ranks between pre- test and post-test, showed that there were 33 students who experienced an increased. The Mean Rank were 17.00, whereas Sum of Rank were 561.00. The value of Ties was 1, it means that there was 1 student had same score between pre-test and post-test. It indicates that the use of Spelling Bee Game is effective in improving students’ vocabulary.
