Inka Astika. 2022. Using Dialog in Teaching Students Pronunciation Ability in class VIII of SMPN 1 Tomoni Timur. (Sri Damayanti S.,SS.M.Hum and Musliadi, S.Pd.,M.Pd)

This study discusses the use of English dialogue during class learning, so
that students can get used to English pronunciation. The purpose of this research
is to find out whether by using English dialogue during learning, students can
know the pronunciation of words in English correctly. This type of research is
quantitative descriptive research. the population in this study was as straight as
junior high school students class VIII B SMPN 1 TOMONI TIMUR. The
instrument of data collection used a practice test for reading words in English or a
practical test. The results of this study indicate that the use of English dialogue
during learning is effective for students' pronunciation, especially vowels.
