This research was “The Use of English Sing-Sing YouTube Channel to
Improve the Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at the Seventh Grade Students of
SMPN 1 Palopo”. The research question that should be answered in this research
is : Can the use of the English Sing-Sing YouTube channel improve the students
vocabulary mastery at the seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Palopo. The
objective of the research is : To find out whether can or not the using of English
Sing-Sing Youtube Channel improve the students vocabulary mastery at the
seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Palopo. The subject of this research was
consisted of 32 students of VII F at SMPN 1 Palopo. The data of this research was
collected through vocabulary test as the research instrument in pre-test and post
test which was analysed data by quantitative analysis. The mean score of students
in the pre-test is 40.00 lower than the mean score of students in the post-test
88.13. The result of the p-value by using SPSS program vesion 24 showed that the
(P) is 0.00 and the (α ) is 0.05, therefore P < α (0.00<0.05). It means that the null
hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. It can be
concluded that the use English Sing-Sing YouTube channel can improve the
students vocabulary mastery at the sevent-grade students of SMPN 1 Palopo.
