Efiyana. 2022. Students' Interest in Reading Comprehension during the COVID 19 Pandemic (supervised by Rizal A.M. Sjachrun and Musliadi).

The purpose of this study was to determine students' reading interest
during the COVID-19 pandemic at MTs Al-Muhdariyah Tokke. The method used
was quantitative method and using questionnaire which consisted of 8 statements
with 4 positive and 4 negative statements to 20 students of 8th grade of MTs Al
Muhdariyah Tokke. Data has been analyzed using statistical analysis. The result
of this research indicates that the students of MTs Al-Muhdhariyah Tokke were
interested with the detail as follows: for positive statements, the highest frequency
answer is interested with 30% of percentage while the highest frequency answer
for the negative statement is uninterested with 40% of percentage. Based on this,
the researcher concludes that MTs Al-Muhdhariyah Tokke students were
interested in reading comprehension during the COVID-19 pandemic.
