Muh Nasdar. 2024. Using Picture to Improve Students‟ Vocabulary at the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Ampana Tete is Academic Year 2022/2023. (Supervised by Muhammad Hasby and Andi Mangnguntungi Sudirman).

The research is about determine whether the used of Picture Media effective in improving students' Vocabulary at SMPN 4 Ampana Tete. The method used is a quantitative method. Researcher apply pre-experimental. Consisting of pretest, treatment, and posttest to 26 Student‟s. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis. The subject of this research were students of class VII A SMPN 4 Ampana Tete. The results of this research indicate that the p-value of posttest is lower than α (0.00 ˂ 0.05). The t-test value of posttest is remarked significant difference. It indicates that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It is proved that the use of picture media is effective in improving students' Vocabulary at the seventh grade students of SMPN 4 Ampana Tete.
