The research focused on the learning styles of students between female
and male in learning vocabulary in English. This study aims to find out and test
the types of learning styles between male students and female, in learning
vocabulary in English. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods.the
subject of the study is a grade VIII student of SMPN 3 Pakue. This study involved
20 students consisting of 10 female and 10 male as participants in the study to
responding to questionnaires. Student data collection is obtained from the results
of questionnaire responses.from the data obtained by students have a positive
response. That the types of learning styles used by male and female students in
vocabulary mastery are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, most male students combine
visual-auditory in vocabulary learning and prempuan combine auditory
kinesthetic to improve their vocabulary to improve their vocabulary.
