This study aimed to know students skill in learning vocabulary. In this quantitative study, the samples were students in SMA Negeri 6 Palopo with 30 students selected using cluster sampling technique. In this study, a test was
applied as a Pre-test and Post-test. The students score after the treatment is lower.
The students confused to understanding the learning process. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that vocabulary ablity of students at eleventh grade in SMA Negeri Palopo is poor.
