Al Mughaffal Yusuf. 2023. Using Padlet in Teaching Descriptive Text to the Eighth-Grade Students of SMPN 4 Palopo (Supervised by Rahmawati Upa‟ and Reski Yusrini Islamiah Yunus).
This research aims to find out whether or not the use of Padlet improves students‟ writing in the eighth grade of SMPN 4 Palopo. This research is quantitative research and the type of research is statistical research. The population in this research was eighth-grade class VIII D of SMPN 4 Palopo which amounted to 30 students and a sample is 20 students were taken using the simple random sampling technique. Collecting data in this research through writing tests. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the data analysis showed that average score on the Pre-Test was 73.35 with a score the highest score was 96 and the lowest score was 55, while the average score on the Post-Test was 91.95 with the highest score being 98 and the lowest score being 85. So it can be concluded that the increase in the average score on the Post- Test was greater than on the Pre-Test. The results of testing the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-test. in this research, the researcher obtained a 2-tailed data significance score of 0.00 <0.05 which indicated that there was a significant difference in the increase in the award of each variable.
