Abstract

Tiara Pingky. 2020. Teacher Strategies in Teaching Vocabulary at SMP Kristen Rante Damai ( supervised by Sri Damayanti and Fibri Indira Lisanty AD). This research aims to find out what strategy used by English teacher to teach vocabulary at SMP Kristen Rante Damai. This research applied qualitative method. The subject of the research was one teacher at SMP Kristen Rante damai. This research was done in seventh grade at SMP Kristen Rante Damai. This research used an instrument to collect the data namely observation note. The result of research shows that there strategy namely metacognitive strategy, cognitive strategy and socio affective strategies.
